Philadelphia native Britney Elayne Norman
is an award winning marketer specializing in large scale events and integrated projects. Recognized by LEADERSHIP Philadelphia as one of 55 Top Connectors and Keepers in the city, Britney has leveraged her talents to serve brands small and large throughout the Philadelphia region and beyond.
As the Director of Integrated Marketing Programs at Visit Philadelphia, she managed the company’s special projects and was a liaison to its Entrepreneur in Residence. Prior to Visit Philadelphia, she was the Events and Promotions Manager for SugarHouse Casino, Philadelphia’s first and only casino, managing promotions, events, and executing sponsor partnerships. In that role, she managed relationships with: The Philadelphia Flyers; Philadelphia 76ers; Liberty USO; Philadelphia Auto Show; OutFest Philadelphia and a host of community and nonprofit organizations.
Britney is a social entrepreneur and civic leader. She serves as the President of the Howard University Alumni Club of Greater Philadelphia and formerly held positions of Board Chair, Executive Vice President and COO of Influencing Action Movement (IAM) over the span of eight years. In 2019, she founded Magic Makers, a collective of black and brown women in entry level to middle-management positions within the advertising, social media, events, and/or public relations departments of nonprofits and private sector companies located in Greater Philadelphia.
Britney received a bachelor’s degree in Communications Management, with a minor in Business Administration from Howard University.
